Hop Plant vs.
Hop Rhizome |

High Hops sells
fully rooted hop
plants. This is
different from a
rhizome which is
a hop plant
root. See the
picture above...our
plants are in
the yellow
cones. With a
fully rooted
plant, you get
established
roots and
leafing plants!
The plants will
mature quicker
than with a
rhizome. Note
that many
rhizome sellers
suggest planting
more than one
rhizome together
to ensure the
plants survive
and to give off
more shoots from
the same site.
With a plant
(like the one
from High Hops)
you will only
place one plant
in each site and
be rewarded with
many shoots. |
